European Science Foundation (ESF)

The European Science Foundation coordinates collaboration in research, networking, and funding of international research programmes, as well as carrying out strategic and science policy activities at a European level. It has 78 member organisations in 30 countries including research funding and performing organisations, academies and learned societies. ESF runs strategic activities such as foresight reports, science policy briefings and exploratory workshops, and research collaboration activities such as international research programmes and research networking programmes. www.esf.org
