Event: NSF Hosts SBE Advisory Committee Meeting

The Advisory Committee for the National Science Foundation’s Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) Directorate is hosting its committee meeting on December 15 from 1-5 p.m. and December 16 from noon-4 p.m. ET.

Topics of discussion will include budget and strategy, the Center(s) for Research and Innovation in Science, the Environment and Society (CRISES) and the Committee on Equal Opportunities in Science and Engineering (CEOSE).

Speakers will include Kellina Craig-Henderson, assistant director of SBE; Karen Marrongelle, NSF chief operating officer; Brian Stone, NSF chief of staff; and Robert Groves, provost of Georgetown University and former director of the U.S. Census.

Molly Gahagen is a third-year student at Johns Hopkins University studying political science and international studies. She is currently the social science communications intern at SAGE Publishing.
