Social Science Space adheres to the spirit of two widely recognized codes of ethics, that of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ) and that of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Neither code is a perfect fit for what Social Science Space provides – we’re not a government watchdog nor a peer-reviewed journal – but each document sets out a model for how we aim to observe and report. Both codes can be accessed below:
