‘Does Consciousness Extend Beyond Brains?’ – The 2023 Holberg Debate

November 28, 2023 1431

The question of consciousness has long been a topic in the scientific community. How do we perceive objects around us? Is reality merely an illusion, a figment of the imagination? Do conscious experience occur within and outside the brain? Can modern science solve this problem of consciousness? The 2023 Holberg Debate will attempt to answer these questions, and more!

In collaboration with the University of Bergen and the Holberg Prize, this panel will include the following guest speakers: Anil Seth, Tanya Luhrmann, and Rupert Sheldrake. Listeners will have the opportunity to engage in this thought-provoking discussion by submitting questions here.
