The Population Association of America (PAA) is a nonprofit, professional, and scientific organization that supports and pursues high-quality population research. On July 22, 2024, the PAA and the Association of Population Centers will be sponsoring an in-person congressional briefing on maternal mortality in the United States. Attendees can expect light refreshments and an engaging discussion with a panel of experts on the ongoing scientific progress being made to understand and prevent rising rates of maternal mortality.
