Akwugo Emejulu

Akwugo Emejulu is a professor of sociology at the University of Warwick. She is an inaugural winner of the Flax Foundation's Emma Goldman Prize. As a political sociologist, her research focuses on racial, ethnic and gender inequalities in Europe and the United States and on women of color’s grassroots organizing and activism.
