November 3, 2011 1529

Are you interested in learning more about the ethical aspects of research methods?

The Academy of Management recently released as series of free videos concerning the ethics of research and publishing.

You can find the videos on the Academy’s Youtube channel.

The Academy also has a code of ethics, which can be accessed here.

Ethical issues arise in many areas of academic life. Do you have ethics questions about research or teaching? Have you experienced ethical circumstances in your professional life? Join your colleagues in discussing ethical topics on the Ethicist Blog on AOM Connect. Recent topics include:

  • Scientists Behaving Badly: Insights from the Fraud Triangle
  • The Teaching Ethicist: Beyond Course Content
  • Ethics in Professional Life: Codes and Conflicts of Interest

You will find additional resources in an online course in research ethics, which can be found here.
