Consortium of Social Science Associations Social Science Advocacy Day

January 27, 2025 6149

Advocacy Day each year brings together social and behavioral scientists and science advocates from across the United States to engage with federal policymakers. This opportunity is available to individuals affiliated with a Consortium of Social Science Associations member organization. If you are a member of or employed by one of COSSA’s member organizations, you are eligible to participate. You can check your organization/institution’s membership status here.

The Consortium of Social Science Associations (COSSA) is an advocacy organization that promotes attention to and U.S. government funding for the social and behavioral sciences. It serves as a bridge between the academic research community and the Washington policy-making community. Its members consist of more than 100 professional associations, scientific societies, universities, and research centers and institutes.
