Emily Anhalt is a professor of classical languages and literature at Sarah Lawrence College and hase taught Greek mythology and history at Yale University and Trinity College. She is the author of last year's "Enraged: Why Violent Times Need Ancient Greek Myths" and "Solon the Singer: Politics and Poetics."
