Deirdre O’Loughlin (pictured) is a professor of marketing at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, Ireland. Her research interests include consumer vulnerability, financial insecurity, responsibility and sustainability issues, services, branding and relationships. She has published in many international journals including Journal of Service Research, European Journal of Marketing and Sociology. Johanna Gummerus is a professor in marketing and director of CERS at Hanken School of Economics, Finland. Her research interests include value creation, vulnerable consumers’ experiences, and service innovation. She has published in, for example, Journal of Service Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and Marketing Theory. Carol Kelleher is a lecturer in service management in University College Cork, Ireland. Research interests include care and public and patient involvement (PPI) in health and social care settings. Publications include the Journal of Service Research, the Journal of Business Research, and the Journal of Service Management, amongst others.
