Diana E Popa, a senior lecturer in the School of World Languages and Cultures at the University of Vermont, is a linguist and multimodal communication scholar whose work explores language, media, and digital culture. Her research examines how meaning is shaped through multimodal and algorithmic systems and develops innovative approaches that position critical thinking as an everyday practice in AI-driven environments. She is currently a National Arts Strategies Creative Community Fellow.
