Jon Burchell is a senior lecturer at Sheffield University Management School. He is principal investigator on the Economic and Social Research Council-funded MoVE project and led the Enabling Social Action program in collaboration with Department for DIgital, Culture, Media and Sport between 2018-20. His research focuses upon cross-sectoral dialogue and collaboration and social action. Harriet Thiery is a research associate at Sheffield University Management School. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been investigating community responses to the crisis as the primary researcher on the MoVE project. Her research interests include the international political economy of aid and development, social policy and civil society.
