Alice Meadows and John Willinsky – Social Science Space

Alice Meadows (pictured) is an independent consultant, who specializes in — and supports the values of — open research. She frequently collaborates with Open Research Ecosystem Consulting and was previously a co-founder of the MoreBrains Cooperative. She is passionate about the need for a trustworthy, open, and robust global research infrastructure (with a particular interest in metadata and workflows) and about improving diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility - in scholarly communications and in society at large.John Willinsky is the Khosla Family Professor, Emeritus, Stanford University and founder of the Public Knowledge Project, which develops the open source Open Journal Systems, which is the world’s most widely used and linguistically diverse scholarly publishing platform.
