Great Site created by the British library to highlight resources relating to the 2012 games. Focuses on social science discussion of the games and its legacy Topics covered include gender, media coverage and sociology. For example see the sociology section

The Site has links to some full text articles and reports on the subject plus the option to search the British Library catalogue for further references to content there is also information on the project to web archive key internet resource srelating to 2012. This growing collection can be viewed online

ALISS is a not-for-profit unincorporated professional society. It is an independent group which was formed in April 2005 by the former committee of (Aslib Social Science Information Group and Network) The aim of the group is to; Provide opportunities for networking and self-development offer a forum for communication create a network of cooperation and a forum for discussion about emerging issues in social science librarianship.
