May 2, 2023 723

Tasseli McKay, a postdoctoral fellow at Duke University, will deliver the 2023 Mark Kleiman Innovation for Public Policy Memorial Lecture this Thursday. McKay is affiliated with RTI International’s Transformative Research Unit for Equity. Her early career research was funded by a National Science Foundation postdoctoral fellowship and has advanced knowledge surrounding the intersection of public policy and law and justice.

The lecture recognizes early career scholars in the public policy sphere and pays tribute to Mark Kleiman, a policy analyst, teacher and member of the Committee on Law and Justice.

The event is presented by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine’s Committee on Law and Justice, whose mission is to “improve government decision making and public policy and promote the understanding and dissemination of research in matters involving law and justice.”

The Kleiman lecture will be held May 4 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. ET. Attendees can visit the lecture in-person or virtually. In-person attendance will be limited at the National Academy of Sciences Building at 2101 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, D.C.
