A Talk with Stefano DellaVigna: Bottlenecks for Evidence Adoption

February 15, 2024 240

As more time has passed, Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) have become a crucial tool used by governments to evaluate whether specific programs and their associated improvements are effective. Stefano DellaVigna’s paper, Bottlenecks for Evidence Adoption, focuses on this topic and explores how governments use the evidence they collect. In the paper, DellaVigna studies 30 different cities that collectively ran 73 RCTs with a national nudge.

With the support of the Social Science Research Council, Stefano DellaVigna will be offering a talk on his findings and the ways in which researchers can address bottlenecks to evidence adoption in research design on Thursday, February 29, 2024. The talk will be offered on Zoom from 3:00-4:00 PM. Information and registration for this event can be found here.
