Annika Surmeier (pictured) is a senior lecturer at the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business where her research and teaching lie at the intersection of social innovation studies and global value chain research with a sustainability focus. Alex Bignotti is a senior lecturer in social entrepreneurship at the University of Pretoria and heads the African Network of Social Entrepreneurship Scholars, a scholarly community aiming to advance social entrepreneurship teaching and research in Africa and facilitate of training of scholars in the same field. Bob Doherty is a professor of marketing at The York Management School, University of York and principal investigator on a large 4-year interdisciplinary research program on food resilience titled ‘IKnowFood’, funded by the Global Food Security Fund. David Littlewood is a senior lecturer in the management school at the University of Sheffield where he researches issues of business and society and particularly social innovation and entrepreneurship in Africa. Diane Holt is a professor at Leeds University Business School and serves as the chair in Entrepreneurship. Phyllis Awor is a medical doctor (MBChB) with an MSc. in international health and a PhD in international health. Ralph Hamann is a professor at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business, where he teaches and researches business sustainability, social innovation, and cross-sector interactions. Teddy Ossei Kwakye is the CGMA academic champion for AICPA & CIMA for the University of Ghana, where he leads, mentors and educates future finance leaders by pioneering the CGMA finance leadership program on the university campus.
