Jordan Gaines Lewis

Jordan Gaines Lewis is a science writer and PhD candidate in neuroscience at Penn State College of Medicine. Her award-winning writing has been featured in Scientific American, NBC, the Washington Post, Psychology Today and The Guardian, among others. She is also the editor-in-chief for ScienceSeeker. Her dissertation research focuses on risk factors for obesity and metabolic syndrome in adolescents, and how these risk factors might be predicted by sleep quality in childhood. Gaines Lewis was included on Pacific Standard's (A Social Science Space media partner) 2014 inaugural list of "30 Top Thinkers Under 30."
